Our business is proudly named after our co-founders, Jenny Waltz and Colleen North.
Jenny is a Columbus native and registered nurse and gained the nickname “Journey” from a nephew who couldn’t pronounce Jenny. Over the years, it caught on, and those who know her well lovingly refer to her as “Journey”. Jenny’s nursing experience includes Home Care and Hospice, just to name a few.
Colleen North has lived in Columbus for over thirty years. As a social worker, her experience became a wonderful compliment to Jenny’s. They combined their names to what is now known as “Journey North”.
Colleen passed away in 2021, but the journey continues…
